WHO OWNS HYBE CORPORATION?

HYBE Corp then Big Hit Entertainment went public in October 15th, 2020. The company offered 35,623,760 shares at an asking price of W135.00 which made the company worth over W4.8 Trillion ($4.1B). Bang Si-Hyuk got 12 million shares and BTS got a combine 478, 695 or 68,385 individually. One of the biggest winner was Netmarble. In 2018, Netmarble invested $190 million in Big Hit and now it's worth $850 million! That's 450% return in 2 yrs. *On June 28, the fourth largest shareholder STIC Investments sold it's 95% of it's equities to foreign and domestic investors for ₩760B which was a 49% net profit. 

The biggest shareholders are the founder Bang Si-Hyuk and Netmarble, a company led by Bang's brother while the flagship group BTS owns about 1.3%. Bang Si-Hyuk and BTS combine to own just 36%  valued at $1.54 Billion while the rest owns 64% of shares valued at $2.7 Billion.
