AMERICAN PRIVATE INVESTMENT FIRMS IN KPOP

BlackRock and The Vanguard Group are the leading American investments firm into the major Kpop entertainment companies. Both of these firms have invested in JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment. The Vanguard Group has $6 Trillion assets under it's management while BlackRock has $8 Trillion assets under it's management as of 2020. HYBE has also received investment from BlackRock only. JPMorgan Asset Management($640B AUM) and Dimensional Fund Advisors L.P($600B AUM) have investments in JYP Entertainment only.  

 

The four private investment firms have invested in JYP with a total of $62,227,924 million which gives them a 6% ownership of the company. The four firms hold more than $15 Trillion of AUM globally.
