WHO OWNS TIDAL MUSIC STREAMING SERVICES?

The Norwegian streaming service was acquired by Jay-Z in January 2015 through Project Panther Bidco Ltd for $56.2 million. Three months later, Tidal introduced "artist-ownership". Sixteen artist joined Tidal as owners where they would release exclusive music for it's subscribers. In January 2017, then Sprint Corporation, now part of T-Mobile, invested $200 million for 33% stake.  Fast forward to March 2021, Square Inc announced an investment of $297 million in cash and stocks for majority stake from Jay-Z that also placed him on their board of directors. It's fair to assume now that T-Mobile and Square Inc owns the majority of Tidal while Jay-Z and the 16 other artists are in minority ownership.

Below is a rough estimate of Tidal secretive ownership since there are details available yet.
